Discussion |
Bobby Carter started by taking the floor. Describing where we stand as a team – where we ought to go and chronicling conversations he’s had with other team members about the direction of the team so far during this off season. |
· New Manager Topic |
Bobby proposed the idea of co-managers for the RiverDogs, nominating himself and Mike Scriver for this role. Additionally, Bobby nominated Scott Winter to be the team statistician and Tammy (Scott’s better half) to be the treasurer. Mike Scriver added more insight to this idea. |
· Grievances and Kudos |
Mark Axup chimed in with his take and the consensus of the group was to allow each member to have the floor and give their take on last season, how they feel about right now and next season. The following had the floor in this order: Bobby Carter, Mike Scriver, Mark Axup, Scott Winter, Guy Eichele, Steve Gallagher, Steve Veres, Larry Rehberg, Steve Webb, Mike Wright, Greg Ketchum, Paul Blauser, Jonathan Aronson |

Nominees |
A Motion was put to the group by Larry Rehberg nominating Bobby Carter and Mike Scriver as Co- Managers of the RiverDogs with Scott Winter as Alternate Manager (stats and responsible for treasury) and Mark Axup as a Bench Coach Player. |
Guy Eichele seconded the motion a vote was called. Majority ‘yeas’ (did not differentiate between abstentions to vote or “nays”) – the Motion is passed (see results below**) |

Uniforms |
Mike Scriver asked that we take a vote on whether we change our uniforms. Some in favor said “great idea!” – while others said, “we don’t know what the new uniforms would look like – how can we vote now?” Mike motioned we take this agenda item forward to the January Dogs Meeting (place and time TBD) – Scott seconded – vote: 9 “yeas” – New Uniform Consideration and presentation in January – passed |

Treasury |
Larry indicated there was $200 in the team treasury, which was ready to be turned over to Scott. He also indicated that there is a $205 dollar accounts receivable from unpaid player dues as well. |

Wrap Up – Open Floor |
· Axup opened a discussion about the RiverDogs members who were not present at the meeting and was interested in their status and in having the Manager make those determinations quickly so those of us on the team can pursue our roles in those vacancies. · Kudos to Tournament Dogs (Webb, Mike, Paul, Axe and Ketchum) and their allies on the Red Sox, the Astros and Gold Sox. Great job out there! Three of these guys took Game MVPs! · Tournament recruiting conversations occurred. · NABA versus MSBL. Larry and Mike Wright both had input on the conversation about many NABA teams are leaving to go to Sunday MSBL – which offers night time make up games and they play for the most part on their own field. The consensus was that the 2005 RiverDogs are a NABA team and we’ll probably re-examine the comparisons as we approach the season. · The Chancellor torch for the RiverDogs Meadow Lake campout has been passed from Scott Winter to Greg Ketchum…very cool monkey. |
