| Doris KUHN has remained in the Harahan area. Single with no children, Doris has worked for a countertop factory for almost two years. In her free time, she enjoys movies and gardening. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Donna LABARRE Pearse and her husband, Jim, live in Covington. She has two children, John (31) and Jennifer (24). Donna attended UNO for two years and Loyola for � years. She has been a realtor for Re/Max for 8 years and is willing to help any and all classmates find the home of their dreams. Donna is most proud of being able to put both of her children through Southeastern University. | Brenda LAIZER Wall and her husband, Bruce, reside in Harahan. She has three children, Crystal (27), George (25) and Nicholas (21). Following graduation, Brenda received her Bachelor�s in Medical Technology and a Master�s in Education both from UNO. For the last twelve years, she has worked for Chapelle High School as a Math and Chemistry teacher. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Cindy LEMLEY Ramero recently moved to Marksville, La. and has four children, Jessica (31), Eric (29), Jennifer (26) and Antonio (24) named after her husband of 35 years, Antonio (or Tony as he prefers to be called). They married just the week after our high school graduation. Her only grandchild is Aiden (5). Cindy was specifically trained in early childhood education from the Montessori World Educational Institute. She taught at the New Orleans Montessori School in Lakeview, that is until Hurricane Katrina destroyed the school. �The 17th Street Canal became our backyard�, she said. Cindy as a Montessori teacher for 17 years, until Hurricane Katrina. She has been a military wife for 23 years. During Desert Storm, she was the Key Wife Coordinator for the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. Cindy�s husband is not only retired U.S. Marine, he is also a pastor of three churches. Her most vivid memory of high school was our senior year�s Christmas play when Portia Brown still played the role of Santa even though her father had died the night before. �It really touched my heart�, she said. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Mona MARTINOLICH Ellender and her husband, Keith, live in Metairie, have two children, Scott, 27 and Amanda, 24, and two grandchildren, as well. Mona has worked at Ochsner Foundation Clinic for 33 years along with her daughter who is a NICU nurse. In her spare time, Mona enjoys scrapbooking, real estate and her grandchildren. | Cynthia MENDEZ Smith and her husband, Dennis, reside in Baton Rouge. She has two children, Natalie, age 24 and Jaclyn, 18. Cindy earned her Bachelor�s of Science degree in Home Economics from LSU. She is most proud of �being a mom to my daughter and being married for 30 years�. Cindy enjoys the computer, Curves and Figaro, the Cat! Her fondest high school memory is �talking with friends in the library before school.� | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Gloria PALMISANO, who resides in Harahan, earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from Southeastern La. University. She has been an elementary school teacher with the Jefferson Paris School System for 30 years. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Ruth PETERS Eavenson and her husband, Wright, live in Bourbonnais, Illinois. They have two children, Daniel (27) who is an engineer at Underwriters Labs and Tim (26) who will finish law school later this year from John Marshall Law School in Chicago. And a grandchild on the way! Ruth received her Bachelor�s of Education degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1977 and a Master�s of Education degree from SLU in 1987. She began working on a doctorate degree at the University of Chicago but had to �drop out� before she could complete the program. Presently, she is an independent certified shorthand reporter (a.k.a. court reporter). �Just about all of my �spare� time is spent working with my pastor husband in ministry�, she says. She adds that she would �love� to see her high school friends but will be unable to attend the reunion due to her busy schedule and prior commitments. And what is she most proud of? �A 30+ year marriage that keeps getting better and better.� | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Nancy POWELL Tizzard of River Ridge, LA is married with two children, Brad (29) and Julie (24). Nancy has worked as a dental assistant for ten years. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, needlepoint and volunteer work. Nancy is proud to be on the Board of Directors for Odyssey House of Louisiana.
