Welcome Candidates!

First off as Search is on...that means candidates... and as candidates... candidates have rules as well as chores. As you know, you've been Searched, and there are some things that you need to know in your new status as a candidate. Please read the following rules and information as it's very important to RP.

Upon arrival at River Cliffs Weyr, candidates should see the Headwoman or Asst. Headwoman first for a bunk Assignment in the Candidate Barracks as well as to receive shoulder knots. A chore list is posted in the Candidate Barracks with each candidate's daily chores. All candidates will have a rest period of a full day starting from when they arrive at the weyr till 24 hours after they have been at the weyr. RP them accordingly please. Candidates should then report to either the CandidateMaster or Asst. CandidateMaster. Those candidates arriving late in the evening should report first thing in the morning. Candidates are expected to attend all lessons in order to stand on the Sands as well as make their own robes.

Candidate robes are to be all white. Candidates on the day of the Hatching will be expected to be wearing their robes. Lengths of robes must be either to the knee or below the knees, not above the knees, we don't need to see what you have underneath, no jewellery is permitted on the Sands- as well as any other items, pets, or firelizards. Female candidates can tie their hair up from their faces. Robes can be held around the waist with a white rope only. As soon as the candidates hear humming of the Dragons, they are to gather in the Candidate Barracks. Candidates will get their robes on and wear sandals, boots, or go barefoot, based on personal preference. In the barracks, the CandidateMaster will instruct the candidates on the procedure on the Sands. Candidates will be sent to the Sands in pairs.
