| Suzy Mizuno: She was already Kiyo's friend before we saw her in the cartoon, although he was kind of unfriendly to the point of screaming at her in the hallway in the middle of school in the first episode. She is kind of like Kiyo's social worker, helping him make friends as the series continues. She likes painting weird faces on fruit. In the manga she is the president of the...Fruit Lovers Club...She is also in the choir. She has an obvious crush on Kiyo. | ||||||||
| Kane: Yes, the bully from episode one who kicks the pants of Zatch. After a while he stops being a bully and becomes Kiyo's friend. Maybe he got brain damage as he was knocked unconcious by Hyde in episode 1. | ||||||||
| Hiroshi Yamanaka: He looks a little strange...hmm lemme see...HE DOSENT HAVE A NOSE. One of Kiyo's first friends and A baseball obsesso. | ||||||||
| Mamoru Iwashima: A very short guy. His eyes are like a toads and he seriously needs to lose some weight. He's obsessed with aliens. (Ever strike you as curious that all of Kiyo's friends are psychopathic on one way or another?) | ||||||||
| Marylou Yamada: Suzy's and later Kiyo's friend. She likes playing ping pong very agressively, as seen in the episode: ''Kiyo's Curry Camping Trip'' where she challenges Zatch and Kiyo to 1000 point Ping-Pong. She is also in the choir. | ||||||||
| Ivy Kinoyama: I'm not sure if she's counted as a friend, but she's the caretaker of Mochinoki's Botanical Gardens who has known Kiyo ever since Kiyo used her gardens as a refuge from the intense bullying he faced at school. Ivy appears in the seventh episode of the series. | ||||||||
