| Memory is the speed that lets your computer think. It comes in two different types of Memory, they are, SDRAM and DDRAM. DDRAM is twice as fast as SDRAM, but DDRAM cost alot more than SDRAM. Memory is rated in Bytes, and the most you can buy is 512MB. When trying to pick memory out, never buy any memory under 128MB, because you will hate yourself for it! If you are a Gamer never buy any memory under 256MB. Lastly your MotherBoard is rated for a sertain amount of MB you can use and your Motherboard has another rating of PC100 or PC133 it just tells what type you can use. PC133 is better so try to get that only if your MotherBoard can handle it (Most new Motherboards will handle PC133 no problem). |
