And now without further adue..Enter the world of The Eternal One...

The first looks at life were the most painful. Violet pools were blinked softly and then a breathe was drawn in and then released again. It was a question of where was she..nothing seemed familiar. A  hand was lifted, but was it her hand? She who had lived on the inside for so long was suddenly on the outside. Slender digits were flexed and for a moment she was in awe. Such movement she had never thought was possibly suddenly was..it had to be a trick of some sort. Gaze extended from her hand to down her arm..it was solid. Further down did her eyes drift..over the flawless flesh that seemed to make up her form. Full breast came as a surprise to her at first then a slow smirk pulled at pale lips..what havoc she could cause. A touch of seduction and everything she wanted could be hers for the taking. Digits trailed down her slender form and she marveled at the silky feel..if this was life then she wanted to keep it for herself. These were her first moments of awakening..the first moments that she..The Eternal One..had conciousness.

Moments of clarity were the hardest ones to bear. She pulled herself up, and her gaze found itself on a mirror. She looked into it expectantly..what would she see within the polished glass?Raven curls framed pale features..flawless beauty. A hand lifted and she touched her face..was this her?She watched in utter fascination as her fingertips slid over the flesh of her cheek. Those digits were swept over pale lips, and then down her form once again. As if memorizing each contour of her silky flesh for later examination. Violets swept over her form in the full length mirror..it was perfection. She knew without a doubt that she was eternally ageless..and she would need a name.."Eternity.." That single word was a mere whisper..and that would be her name.

The memories of what was before are sometimes best forgotten. Doors were thrown open as she entered the walk in closet. Her bare form seemed unbothered by the cool breeze that slipped throughout the room. In essence she wasn't cold..nor did she feel the heat that had radiated from the bath she had previously stepped from.Clothing was slipped from hangers and placed on a chair. She moved to once more stand before that full length mirror.Hands were lifted and raven strands were wound around and thru a silver clip..being secured atop her head. Then the coolness of soft leather was felt as long legs were slid into the confines of a flaired skirt. Silk then graced her skin as arms were pushed thru the sleeves of a shirt, and finally her feet were encased within a pair of thigh high boots. This was the first thing that touched her skin..the feel of leather and silk.

Even hell has its angels..and sometimes they are more frightening than they seem. She was it seemed born without a childhood, but that didn't bother her. She knew she had a mother..just as she knew all about the one that had betrayed her before she had been born. She was a vindictive little minx..and she knew of the other soul within her now. Yes, that one would just have to take a step back and let her have her fun. And if worse came to worse she would simply rid herself of the other spirit. Such thoughts caused her to smile..that would be fun.

There was much for her to learn of this new place she suddenly found herself in..and much to learn of the things that made her who she was as well. A hand trailed down the railing to the stiarcase as she descended them. And she viewed the place that was now her home. It would never do..it was much too light oriented. That would just have to be changed. Perhaps a few dark coverlets or blacking the windows out. Yes, that would make things better in this place.

But one thing came before that..she had been released for a reason. And as her Mother, Imelda Darkmoon, had told her..these beings that housed their souls rarely let darkness in unless it was needed. Afterall, Imelda herself had only rarely ever been released by the one who housed her spirit..and when she had been let out it was to defend the wretched woman that was apart of her. Eternity had other plans than to play the enforcer for a weakminded woman. She relished the thought of being free and would hold no redemtion for killing the spirit of the woman that would be seen as her twin sister.

And unlike her twin, Eternity didn't believe in love..well except for the false kind that was used when practicing seduction. She smiled..that kind was rather fun. Maybe she would seek out the man Imelda had told her about..the one that had showed some emotional attachment to Imelda's twin sister. She could see herself playing with him easily..and the knowledge of who he was could be temporarily forgotten til she was done playing. However, she decided she'd rather play with the family that her own dear twin had accumulated.

Pain..now there was something she was fond of, and lots of it. She could inflict it for hours and take it just as easily. It was like ambrosia to her, and an endless craving. She would find him..the one her twin was said to 'love' "Bah..love is for weak minded Light beings." she muttered as she set off on her way. Perhaps a bit of seduction was in need.

Enter the world of Fire and Ice...

The first moments of awakening are for discovery. Emerald eyes were blinked softly as she took in her new surroundings. She had expected this as she came into awareness once more. Afterall..the split had been made voluntarily. A hand was liifted and digits wiggled before her eyes. A smile flickered across pale lips..so she had movement afterall. She hadn't been sure that the spell would work. For what felt like a lifetime she sat with her back against the wall, and while tears trickled down pale cheeks she knew that they were for naught. Sometimes even a Goddess lost the things she held dear.

When fires might is expelled and ice flows through a womans veins..can nothing set things to rights? It would be nightfall before she would allow herself to rise. A mirror would be brought before her so that she could view what was resulted from the splitting of two forms. She knew that her twin was off somewhere licking her wounds..the heart of a woman took time to repair.Fingertips grazed over fiery gold curls that seemed to frame golden features. It was as she had expected..she was identical in everyway to her counterpart Fire. She would need a different name.."Katrina.." that would fit her perfectly.

Two sides of a coin..both so different yet so very much alike. She was the ice to Amara's fire. Both goddess' of fire..but she was the good one. While her twin was the evil one..such a splt had been neccessary after the betrayal. Yes..she had once been married and now she wasn't. It seemed unreal that her long time best friend and husband would betray her as he had but it had been done. Now she had seperated herself and was ready for something more. The question was however, should she let him live or merely play with him for a while.

A woman scorned is a very bad thing indeed, but to scorn two women..that could mean death. It was those first moments of awareness that she came to a few decisions..while Amara would kill him she would not. Instead she would find someone new..someone worthy of her love. That would be the intresting task..for unlike her twin she actually had a heart. She remembered many things from their shared time together, just as she knew the secrets of her 'sisters'. Not that she would ever share them..those belonged to them alone.

Sometimes dreams can seem real and the reality is that they never were. She had barely noticed that she was nude..it hadn't seemed like something that was important til she felt the prickling of her skin when goosebumps formed. She felt the chill in the air for the first time in her life. She smiled..it felt rather amazing to her actually..such things seemed impossible before.  Digits trailed through the air and a spark of flame formed in her cupped palms.Warmth flowed thru her then, and she used that small flame to start a fire in the fireplace. Now she would discover what had been left for her to wear.

Smiles may seem like they may never return but eventually they will. She moved thru the now warm room..clothing was selected and laid out. Soon she had slid on a silky red dress that swirled around her ankles. The ribbon laces to a pair of black satin slippers were wound around her ankle and tied. She had the figure of a dancer and the long legs to go along with them. She was much like a child in this new form. She twirled around watching the fluttering skirt of her sundress swirl around her slender waist then resettle around her ankles. She would enjoy exploring this new aspect of her life.

Fires light can seem bright but in reality its merely the light in a persons eyes that is brightest. A night had passed and she had sppent it learning all she could of the place that was now her home. Dark Crystal Palace was still very much a mystery to her, but it was starting to unravel before her the more she sought out information. Now she knew the history of her homes creation..of the Princess that had founded the realm she lived in, and of the trials the three Princess of the Starlight and Crystal Realm had suffered through. She was in the Crystal Realm..the home of the Dark Goddess and Firesoul Princess. The place extended beyond that was the Starlight Realm..home of the Light Goddess and Starlight Princess. She smiled, on the outskirts between the two realms was the Megaverse. The Dream Angel lived there..and she was the reigning Princess of Star Point Palace. Now she could begin her search.

Dawns first shining and dusks first twinkling can leave much to be desired in the hearts of women. A black cloak had been swung over her shoulders and secured by a small broch. The hood being drawn consealed delicate features and fiery golden curls beneath in a pale washing of shadowed darkness. It would't do for her to be mistaken by one that would do her harm. Ah, but she remembered the affair..perhaps when times were better she would seek him out and conclude that bit of nasty business. She smirked to herself slightly bemused and mummered,"You're playing with Fire now. So prepare to get burned." That always had been their favorite battle phrase.  Soon she was off to see what she could see and perhaps look up a few people.

Enter the world of The Dark One...

The first breath can be the least refreshing. Coral pools were narrowed to block the flashes of lightening she saw outside the window.. She knew all too well where she was..she had been here before and it wasn't her first venture forth from within. The question was however..why had she been called forth. She could smell the lavender she favored for her bath water..just as the cooling beads of moisture could be felt sliding down her bare skin. And the feel of soft cloth against silken skin was apparent. It would be a few moments before the memories would tumble forth and she would be made aware of things. She smiled..Light beings were so stupid at times.

The darkness within the light could hide the greatest of deceptions. The Dark One was awake..and hell would know the bounds of a woman scorned. She stood before a mirror a dark smile flitting across pale lips..what had been sunkissed tresses were now midnight. She didn't need to pick a new name..she had one already..she was the warrior angel within the one of light. She was known as Imelda. Digits were splayed over the rounding stomach she seemed to have now.."By the gods..she got herself pregnant.." was all that she could say.It wasn't all bad she supposed..she could nurture the dark side of the unborn child..she would someday be known as The Eternal One..and that would be the most intresting of beings. She would make sure the child had a heated hatred for the man that had sired her and then left.

The death of all thats light can lead the total destruction of everything that we know and hold dear. Destruction and torment were among her favorite pasttimes. Even for her she never saw a reason to change these ways..they were hers alone after all.  Of all the things she had learned since becoming a 'person' it was that to keep from being destroyed you had to strike first, and she made sure that was what she did.And if someone got hurt along the way..oh well.

Dawns light may seem far away..but its closer than we think. She learned over time that the ones she spoke of as sister, were changing into beings more to her liking. Light beings were so annoying and rather boring.Quite easily destroyed. That just took all of her fun away. She smiled darkly..maybe it was time to go out and find someone new to torment.Perhaps look up a few of his old friends for some nice fun and games. Of course, they would be the type where she won.

A warrioress heart is shieled behind many walls..can a secret be discovered to break them away?Love..what a joke. There was nothing about it that appealed to her..truthfully it was the biggest waste of time. Such was that she didn't truly believe her counterpart to have been in love with that Light angel of hers. Despite the constant nagging that she had been. Bah..what a waste of time it seemed to her..love had no place in her life and never would.

The decisions the heart make that the mind rejects. She swept thru the rooms, things that had belonged to her counterpart being replaced. She was no longer needed..only Imelda would remain behind. Vengance  was her goal, but then...it had always been her goal. Such things were what she lived for, and always would live for. Now it was only a matter of time before they came to pass.

The Eternal Desires..

With each time she was locked away she only came back that much stronger. The darkness within the light could never be held at bay forever. She was the Eternal One..the being within the light one that brought the cold vengance she desired when nothing else could bring her to end her own pain. She found them to be fun..the spirit inside her was amusing towatch from the inside, but it was more fun to ruin her life on the outside. Even he couldn't tell the difference at first. She could only smile.

With each moment she spent in the hell that was her soul she learned bigger and better tricks. It ws fun to cause her to have moments of forgetfulness..almost as much fun as wrecking havoc with the people she loved. It was ehr favorite pasttime. She would never love..so why should she express such emotions for those that claimed to love her counterpart? They only left her alone..unsure of if she was wnated. Except for him..the foolish vampire that was her brother. That one made things intresting..at least until he had died. Mores the pity for the little fool that was her light soul.

Where do people go when their dreams have died? If she ever expressed love it would never be known. She didn't care if others knew. She would only taunt and make them think she had no heart. But what remained buried inside the dark abyss that made up her wretcheed soul..these were the things that she kept for herself. The part that she showed no one. She had thought iit was great fun trying to seduce Alex..it had almost worked as well..if Miss Goody-two-shoes hand't made it known she was having blackouts. It was all her fault the wretched man got rid of her the last time. But she was back now and ready for some more fun.

What really makes up a persons soul..light and good things or darkness and bad things? She was sugar and spice..but certainly not all that was nice. No..it was safe to say that she was quite the opposite. Destruction was her passion and death her desire. The night was her god and she its mistress..what more could she ever want in live but these things? Certainly not a lover..they were a waste of time, and she was more into the one night stand bit. Why make them think they would have her heart when it would be nothing more than a false hope?

Must everything always be black and white? She smiled..violet pools glittering darkly in the dim lights as she watched those that would claim to be her counterparts family. The fools. She needed no one and never would. But it was time to end this charade. She would be the victor..and they would be left in the wake of her dust. She  smirked.. the time for play was at an end. All that was left was oblivion.

When Fires light dims..

Endless torment can sometimes be painful when faced alone. She wept in solitude. What had been a happy ending turned sour. Was it always to be like this? Forever on the brink of perfect happiness only to have it torn away. But what else was there for her other than this. She was the benevolent spirit that guided those who came to her. Yet her own guidance never came. Of everything she gave an end was never found to her own pains. Would it never end?

Oblivions longing isn't granted to everyone. And she grieved in silence. Her pain her own..yet still she waited. Did he hate her so much he would promise her hearts wish and then leave? Death would have been more welcome. But she lived for them..the ones that needed her vengance in their times of pain. Somethings never changed it would seem..nor would her heart. She would wait for an eternity..in turth for her..eternity was all she had.

When fires light dims and women find their dreams shattered whats left for them? Thus she pined away to virtually nothing. She was a woman scorned it would seem. Perhaps forever to be..for without him she had no life. No reason for being in existance. Not all knights followed the codes she had been brought up to view it seemed. She was a child of the old ways..and always would be.She was ice..ofset by her twin who was fire. Together they were complete..apart they were mere shells. But for him..she had given it all up.

When death seems the only recourse and life no longer holds alure..what is there to be found in the hearts of women? And then she became a ghost of her former self. She would spend nights watching outside the window of their castle for him to appear. but he never came. Perhaps it truly was over for them..but she refused to accept that. And so she would wait..til the end of time oor her life was taken from her. But who would kill a Goddess?

And passions desires shield us from the truth. Finally all that was left was her heart..she could feel it shattered during the long cold nights. Emptiness became her solitude..with it she drew back to old ways. The times before she had let light into her heart..and her 'soul'. She would find him again....someday.

And darkness turns a heart to stone.

Against all that she was she still pined for him. Darkness was her desire, but she still wanted him. Perhaps it was the thought of mingling the light with the darkness. Their child had been born so very long ago. Cherished by her counterpart, and scorned by her. Such daintiness in a child..it was sickening. Ah, but the delicious darkness that dewelled within that child..she may be an angel of Dreams and Divinity..but the darkness inside her was very much apparent. She would bide her time.

And the iciness that takes over the soul, are they merely forgotten memories? Endless sleep. That was what her counterpart had wnted and sso she had gotten it. But at what cost? She would willing give up her life? Well, she wasn't going to..the Dark One had other plans for the life she had fought so hard to obtain. Yes, so many things she wantedd to see and would see.

And darkness turns a heart to stone, the choices we make and the consequences that are suffered. She hadn't forgotten about the affair he had had with that little Faerie Bitch. Oh no, revenge for that would be oh so sweet. And the little bitch would lose her wings. She wondered how he would feel about that. At least the stupid little fae hadn't had a child as a result of that affair. Nor would she forget the death of her friend Crystal Blackwind..it had been at his hands Crystal had been cutdown..still very much a child. He would pay for that as well. She smiled darkly..there was so much she had to do in her time on this plane.

Toss in a little pain, a betrayal or two, a stab in the back, and a few broken promises. Mix well and heartbreak will insue. She herself wasn't against offering a few broken promises, but to have someone break one to her was the end all.Digits were pulled through midnight tresses as she walked through the door that lead to the hidden chamber. Coral pools slipped over the protected form of her counterpart. Gods only knew why she bothered to protect her..but she did.Besides..she was awaiting the day she could destroy Rosette's life.

Sometimes we have to delude ourselves to discover the truth of the matter. Digits slipped down the silky skin of her stomach..those black tipped nails grazing over the scar along her side. That had been a fun battle..of course..she had won. Her plans were coming along wonderfully. Things were begining to fall into place..soon she and her sisters would bring about the destruction of the Starlight Realm and bring back the Crystal Realm. Then she would end Rosette's life forever..though it might take longer than they thought. No one had counted on Amara's split. But she could wait..she was a very patient woman a times.

The things that change a life..

If it hadn't been for him she would have continued her charade. Pain..blinding and unmistakeable pain asulted her from no where. What in the nine hells had she done..did the twit get them killed? Eternitys head was aching from the emotional overload she was recieving from her counterpart. Violet pools would come to awareness as she found herself unable to move a muscle. Soon a scream would pierce the air..was that her own or Miss Perfects? Pools of Aquamarine soon swimed with flecks of violet..both aware of the other as he took them roughly in her estimation. She should fight..but she couldn't seem to make her hands move. If she had her way the bastard would already be dead for touching them. And then it was over..and they were left broken..alone where he had raped them. She found herself standing outside the prone form of her twin sister. Pain still radiating from every inch of her form..yet the feeling of lonliness was already forming. In a way she needed Katrine as much as she needed her.

Decisions the heart makes..even if they aren't ones that would normally be made. She would protect her..gods only know why she decided this but she did. The Eternal One would protect the Angelic One.While she made plans to destroy the one that dared to harm them she  was unaware of her counterparts retreat into herself. But this would have been amusing to Eternity and nothing more. She had already completely withdrawn herself from Katrine..giving her a better chance to heal.

Still connected yet not of the same body. He had killed them..damn her for going unprepared. Goading him into a fight had been stupid..but she had let the Angelic One proced reguardless..perhaps it was a secret hope that Miss Perfect would be killed of course she would then have to kill the one stupid enough to kill her twin sister. It was her turn now..and may the gods have mercy on his soul because she wouldn't.

The things we do for those we love despite the times we try to destroy them.He had defeated her. By the gods how ahd that happened? He would pay dearly for that mistake. But she never got the chance to rectify it. No..instead she was forced to work overtime in attempts to keep her twin sane..not that was an easy task since Eternity was somewhat insane already. She found her twins bouts of insanity amusing..but then she found anything that caused her counterpart pain amusing.

Two souls that are ripped apart is there any way to make them whole again? She'd be damned if she left her twins goody two shoes mate sire them again. She wasn't into the drinking of blood anymore than her twin was. Thank the gods the twit had forgotten about the time they had been sired. Though ironically at a point in the far distant future they would have vampiric tendancies. But the fun stuff was yet to come.

And give new meaning to false hope...
