The true-blue Silk fan and none other will understand the term "Sam and Sam" even if they hear it after many moons! 'Sam' and 'Sam' are after all the nicknames of the two dearest TV actors, Chris and Rita (Rob Estes and Mitzi Kapture). The basis for their affection with that name (Sam Snead-Slammin Sammy!) has become dear to the hearts of Silk fans by association. We not only think of golf when we hear the term Slammin Sammy (nor baseball for that matter!) but of Silk and Chris and Rita the classic dynamic duo who made the name mean something to us.
