Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone!

The holidays has been very kind to us, letting us travel safely to Nanny and Grandpa's in Milton where we saw not only them, but Uncle Tom and Aunt Christina, Uncle Joe and Aunt Christina, and two big supporters of Lauren's who got to meet her for the first time, Bob and Barb Comport .  It was great seeing all of you, and we want to thank you for being the wonderful people that you all are.

We also traveled out to Grandma and Grandpa's place in Aylmer, where Lauren went to mass for the first time and got to meet even more people!  We brought in the new year out there, and after a little "to-do" as we were getting ready to leave, we arrived back home safe and sound, and Lauren continues to do well.

We were visited yesterday by Lauren's dietician who is happy with Lauren's progress, to the point there isn't much need for her to come out anymore.  Lauren is up to over 23lbs, and ove 30" in length.  She's getting to be a really big girl, but she will forever be my baby.

Lauren has been busy with some doctors appointments over the past few weeks.  From a hearing screening that seemed to have gone well, to a head ultrasound   (she has a large head and the doctor is a little concerned, but it's not unlike daddy when he was young), to getting flushots, she has been a really busy little girl.  As I write this, she is snoring away peacefully, trying to catch up on some needed sleep from the past couple of weeks.

Getting Lauren around has been so much easier since we received the van and Lauren's chair.  It has been an absolute blessing, and we're hoping to get around a bit more when the nice weather comes around again (maybe even before that).

But for now, love to all of you, and again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Love,

Rita, Lauren and Will
