Just a quick update, since it's been a couple of days.

Just coming in from seeing Lauren, and it's been quite a night.  I came in from work, and while I was driving, Rita called to tell me she found out that everything is ok, and we saw Lauren within half an hour.  Her poor little nose was getting irritated from the air tube going into it, and the staff were re-taping it when we came in.  She's been doing well, and I changed yet another diaper, and held her feeding for her.  But  I swear her hair is like a chameleon, and changes every day! 

The staff are now doing range of motion with Lauren every 3 hours, and that should make a drastic improvement even over what has occured already.  Her feedings are still going well, and she got to hear a version of THE THREE LITTLE PIGS, and in this version, the wolf ate the first 2 pigs then ended up in a boiling pot of water.  Not the version I'm used to.  Anyone else?!

Not too much to report on.  The Drs have done more bloodwork, and sent it off.  We're told we should have some results in a couple of weeks.  So much for having her home for Thanksgiving.  But she is getting the care she needs, and that is what is important.
