Family Update
What's New
January 19, 2007

Helloooo Ladies and Gents!  Thank you for tuning into another family update, brought to you by the good people at Geocities.Com!  (Hey, they're giving us a free site, a little thanks never hurt anyone)

Lauren is doing great, to sum things up.  I know I keep talking about her smiles, but they're getting bigger, and more frequent, and honestly-they're the most amazing thing I've ever seen!  Any parent I'm sure would agree that seeing your child smile is out of this world.

Lauren's continuing to grow, and is coming off her ventilator for periods of time without much of a problem.  Sometimes she'll tire out, and othertimes, she tires us out and we have to put her back!  She's such a sweetheart.

I know it seems like I'm always posting in such a positive manner, and maybe I should tell you something.  It's because Lauren is developing so well, and she has made such remarkable advancements since her debut, I can't help but be positive.  Yes, there's some challenging times, and yes, Rita and I get tired.  But it's worth it.

Now, it's been brought to my attention that some rumours of Lauren have been going around about her prospects looking grim, and that Rita and I are frustrated with having to call 911 "all the time" (in reality, it's been twice- once because we were told to do so by a respiratory therapist and once because it we were truly concerned for her).  Please, please...PLEASE...if you hear anything that sounds out of the ordinary, or people are "repeating" what Rita or I have said and it doesn't sound like something we would say, I encourage you to contact us personally, and we'll clear the air.  We are going to do whatever we can for Lauren, help her in any way she needs, any number of times.  So please, feel free to pass this website to anyone who may be misinformed, or is misinforming others.

With that out of the way, allow me to tell you that I had my first few days at Medaille College, working towards my teaching certification, and it's been an absolute blast!  I feel I have truly picked the right school, and I'm surrounded by wonderfuly people.  It's going to be a busy year, but it's going to be well worth it.

With that, it's time to take Lauren up for the night.  God bless all of you, we love you, thank you for your non stop prayers, love, thoughts and support.  Look at the picture section, and you'll see the wonders it's doing.

Ciao.
