Greetings everyone!

The internet at the RMH is still a litle finicky, so bear with us as we work through it. 

I went to visit Lauren today before work (where I am not right now...really...I promise...), and she was doing very well.  I know the pic I uploaded is under low light, but I didn't want to use a flash for fear of bothering her eyes.  She was quite active, and is almost back up to full feeds.  She has one IV taken out, and the other one is running on minimal flow, and that's just to prevent it from clotting in case the IV is needed.

As I was saying, Lauren was very active this morning when I went to see her.  It wasn't an "I'm uncomfortable and/or upset" type of activity, as it was "Hey!  I'm awake!  Look over here everybody!  I'm doing just great!"  Needless to say, I did look.  As did some nursing staff and everyone can't get over how comfortable she looks, and how far she has come. 

Unfortunately, I had to leave to go to work, where I am NOT right now...really...but I promised Lauren I would see her tonight.  And Daddy's gonna keep his promise.
