Family Update
What's New
October 8, 2006

Happy anniversay to us!!!  Rita and I just celebrated our first year of marriage today.  I can't believe a year has gone by so fast.  Rita and I had a busy day going out to the Mennill farm where we saw some family we haven't seen in probably about a year.  I went through a corn maze that Rita's dad, Dave, grew as well as ate more food than what I probably needed to!  But it was a good time, and thanks to all that were there and shared in a good time.

Rita and I got back to see Lauren  shortly after 9pm, and she had a good day.  Mine got even better when I got to snuggle with her while Rita went to pump.  Lauren did go up a little in her weight, and is looking even less swollen than the last post I made.  We are still going for the tracheotomy, and that more than likely will not change.  The only reason it would, is if the pre-trach scope reveals something that can be fixed without needing a tracheotomy.  But that's very slim.  We still do not have a date for the surgery, but you will know when we do.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Turkey Day, and we;l talk you soon.

Thank you for your thoughts, love, support and prayers.
