Is there anything
good inside of us
or is it just something
that we once dreamt that we could be
the owner of
before we lost every vision
and got addicted
to power money and television
and started to live
like they do on film and soap
where the good guys win every time
even if they are bad
there will be a happy ending
without any pretending

Can it be found
our true will
or is it lost
and we are forever bound

Will it ever happen
that we all want to see in the near future
but wont admit that we need
since we love to simulate all the time
that we are able to create
the best possible world to live in
for us all big or small
with killing eachother in so many ways
for no reason at all

Can you imagine
how it would be and feel like
to become truly proud
of something you did that came from your heart
instead of letting your confused brain
shout out loud every stupid complain
without doing anything to it in any way
or do you think and believe
that acid rain can wash your soul clean
and let you win the key to
pearly gate

Is there really nothing
you want to change
since you applaud those great ideas
every time they appear
or is it so that you are blinded and astounded
