Don't you ever try to lie to me
because I have heard them all before
and I know that they will lead you to nowhere
but you don't know that yet
you just go on and on
believing that you are so strong
and that you never will have any regret
and you also think
that we don't understand anything
but I am telling you
you are only chasing your own tail
and you may risk spending a very long time
locked into a big house called jail
and what would your family and friends do then

You are still young and strong
but soon you will be young and weak
and so you will be young and sick
and so you will only be waiting
for death to set you free
you are still young and strong

Don't you ever try to fool me
because I have met
many wild and careless people
and I know almost every trick in the book
of life at the dark side
and all the questions and all the right answers
they are stored forever in my mind
so I can understand
when people like you come around
with your glamorous and shining
well told lies
that is why I am telling you
you better shape up your life
before it ends violently
in the dark alley
or in the middle of the street
or locked into a prison cell for the rest
of your short existence
or maybe somebody shoot you right down
since you were unlucky
and showed your face at the wrong time
or stuck your nose into something you should
stayed away from
I am telling you
quit you are still young
and it won't be long
before you get a real life
that you can be proud of

Don't you ever try to build
your life upon lies
because it won't last so long anyway
and only sorrow and pain
you will gain from it my friend
you better start something new
and find some reality in your confused and
disorientated mind
before you end up on a never stopping
merry go round
