1984 IS HERE BUT DO WE WANT IT

I am trapped in a hell hole
with a time lock
and here I have to stay
until they decide to let me out
because I broke the law and denied to obey
the rules of society
that is supposed to be so perfect
that we create new laws every day
just to control our neighbors and friends
in every possible way
so everyone of us can be so proud
the day we can inform against someone next door

George Orwell predicted it
and soon it is complete and clear
and we all got tricked into it
by those paranoid powersick men
who want us all convicted for something some day
since they fear everything that we say
and the way we live

You are trapped in your so called home
and the locks you can open up
but you don't want to leave its safety anymore
because you know that they have the whole control
since they started to outplace microphones
and cameras everywhere
even your own telephone they can tap
because somebody called in anonymously
to the perfect police
and told them something awful about your behavior
that you never will get to know
since you are under a secret investigation
for the rest of your life
in this wonderful free and democratic land
and now you can sit at home and wonder for a long time
do we want a regime or not
or have we got it already
I can only say 1984 is here to stay

We are all trapped in the Coliseum arena
and those masters of justice
love to see how we are fighting for our cheap lives
while they applaud when the blood flows
and when they return laughing to their homes
they have already forgotten
the beaten ones
