How would you feel
and what would you do
if loose talk
forced you to live a kind of life
that there was no way out of
because if you stopped
stealing dealing and pushing
and tried as hard as possible
to get some work
you would never get any job at all
would you choose the starvation solution
or would you continue your mission
at the side line of this perfect society

17 and doomed for life
just a wild child without any hope
after being forced to give up love
17 and living by the knife

How would you feel
every time you showed your face
at the employment office
they told you to go
because in this little town everybody know
and there is no job for you
and there is no available places at school
for someone who won't follow the rules
would you blow your head off
or would you become a mental patient
maybe you could have the nerve to rob a bank
or you would lock yourself into paranoia forever
I don't know what you would do
if you had to wait for 13 years
for a job or school
and the welfare office hated the sight of you
since you had been inlisted
since the age of seven
what would you do
can you please tell me
because I need to know
if there is any heaven
for a little rascal like me

How would you feel
if every dream were taken from you
and there was nothing you could do
to have them back
what would you do if it happened to you
or your child or best friend
don't you feel that it is a great shame
that something like this can happen in this
wonderful land
there are thousands of young kids
that get totally
blacklisted for life
