I was born on Good Friday
and maybe that is why
my life turned out like it did
all the angels were engaged
with leading the son home
so there was not any
guardian angel to lead me
and early my life went out of control
because the devil promised
that he would take the best care of my soul
and he showed me all that I would need
and how to get it for free

I believed that I was strong
and I despised the weak
and my life went more and more out of reach
because I liked to listen
to that sweet tuned devil's wish song

I was born on Good Friday
and maybe that is why
my life turned out like it did
so I should experience everything evil in
this world
until the day I realized
now I know enough to understand what is wrong
and what to do about it
because my guardian angel
has been with me all the time
that is why I survived
and some of my best friends died
and now the time has come for me
to cast my mask and complete my new task
which is helping those young astrayed kids
so they don't have to live a life
like I did

I was born on Good Friday
and maybe that is the reason
since I always got
everything that I ever wanted
and every time I felt that I was in love
everything just happened the right way
but never really lasted so long
I had the taste of life
but now I know that it was the false one
and my time has come to change
I was born
thank you God for that
now I have learned how to behave
in a better way
since I found the strength inside my chest
