Do you recall those shooting stars
you told me that night
everything that you wish in your heart
will come true and last
but it was not so
it did not last very long because I was too young
but it happened to us
and maybe that should be good enough
it is better to get a little real love time
then to be unlucky and never get anything

We walked hand in hand
on that old road in the dark
and the shooting stars gave us love
on command from God above

that we were linked in a special way
and so we were for a little while my love
you said that you loved me forever
and I told you that I cared for you too
and that was my big mistake
how can love survive when only one part
can open totally up and give everything
when the other one does not understand anything
of the great thing that is happening
