Too late to cry for eternal life
since my life does not include
any will to change my ethos
and so I continue to etch my future

Too late to die
to late to eulogize
too late to have
a second chance

Too soon to smile
and flirt with dirt
because it only takes a little while
to become totally evasive
and your life starts to evaporate
with the speed of light

Too dark to see the real evil
but close enough to feel
that there is no escape
when you are filled up with hate
against yourself is it
then any use to stay awake

Too young to know
that there was only one way to go
if there should be a good tomorrow
