She was so fine
and she was all mine
most of the time
I believed like the stupid fool
a man in love can be
I trusted the words she said to me
I really believed
that she loved me like I love her
a kind of love
that wins over everything
in this crazy world
a kind of love
that grows and grows
and never gets old
a kind of love
that you have to experience
to understand
why there is made woman and man

I love you
do you remember those words
we said them so gently
afraid that they
should fly away and never be heard

I heard them
and I believed in them and I trusted you
when you added the word forever
after you said them
I thought that you felt the same as me
but that was just in my daydream
a wonderful thing like that could be true
maybe it was me
that was to young to understand
what goes round in a girl's mind
and maybe I was much too wild
to ever be tamed
and so I had to pay the price
that also included
letting go the love of my life

She was so incredible fine
and she was all mine
but it lasted only for a short short while
because I chose crime
and the wild life at the dark side
and it forced her to send me away
she broke her promises
and so did I
but I will never forget what we had together
