HAVE YOU HEARD IT

There was a time
long long ago in a faraway land
there lived a man
with magic hands and mind
there was not anything
he could not do
and the amazed
people saw it all
and they knew it
was true
Magic Magic
will get you enough
just swing your stick
and get rich
Merlin was his
name and he was the greatest wizard
he could take the
shape of a lizard
and send out incredible blizzards
He lived in a castle
made out of solid shades
the doors and the
windows were of the finest silver
and the floors
were covered with carpets of gold
and the lights
were of the brightest diamond stones
He created a magic
sword and put it into a stone
and then he spread
the word
many brave men
came and tried but no one had the power
to get it loose
Merlin got old
and felt that his time soon would be over
and he sent out
the message one more time
come all you brave
men from near or afar
try to find the
hidden stone and pull out the sword
if you can do this
you will take over
my magic power and my fantastic home
I have been there
I found the stone and I pulled out the sword
now I am living
in a castle of shades and my magic power
gives me everything that I need
I am telling you
this so you don't have to go out trying to find
something that
is already found but if you find me you can wish anything
because I am now
the owner of incredible magical power
come and visit
my new tower
