We are living in a land
where nobody is allowed to have
any kind of plan
we have to obey the only law
and if not
they shoot us down in flames

Oh it is so easy
yes it is
to live in this
nowhere land

If you get involved
in something serious
you can be sure
that they will put you up against
any random wall
because you must obey the law
and if not
you know they will come to your door
and take everything away

If you don't have the right friends
and have some work to go to
they will put you in a dark place
and start to wash
your precious mind away
and they will never believe any word
of what you have to say
because you are born to obey

Why can't they understand
that the life we want
is so easy to give
it seems to me
that they like to live in sin
and take everything
they can get their claws in
their behavior is wrong and
someday they will have to give it up
because a regime
can not last forever

Norway is a wonderful country
but what does that have to say
when people aren't happy anyway
