ZAPPA HE KNEW
OJO 2004

Behind iron doors
lying in my bed
listening to Zappa's
The Torture Never Stops
feeling my mind drifting away
and my tears are sneaking
out of my closed eyes
Better off dead
instead of fed
on this dry bread
Surrounded by cold stone walls
not able to see a tree
or walk on soft ground
and watch the birds fly
freely up in the sky
that is the way they are dealing
and this is the price
a little man has to give
Take my advice my good friend
behave yourself
don't let anybody twist your mind
and turn things completely around
and make you need something
that was never meant to be inside
keep it out of your mind
don't take the chance
you may end up like me
and I am telling you
life like this
is not worth living
just say no and go
when somebody offers you
some good free dope
so you can earn some easy money
for them afterwards
Behind iron doors
lying alone in my simple bed
thinking about my stupid mistakes
but the torture never stops
and I will once again wake up in hell
in this damned cell
but I shall survive as long as it takes
and get myself a new life
