The sound of jet engines
makes me wonder
what it feels like
to be in a place where war is going on
lucky me I live in Norway
but down in Yugoslavia
war is all around
and they also hear the sound of bombs
hitting the ground
why don't we stop it
NATO is not worth a shit

Flying low
in a stolen military air plane
I know what I would do

The invasion of refugees
to our land
what good can it do
we can't give them a home
and we can't give them work
all we can give them
is our hate
because inside we don't care
if they are dead or alive

We just want to show the world
how nice we Norwegians are
taking care of the weak
but in our own land
we can not take care of
our own old and weak
and young people have no work
or school or youth clubs to go to

Where will it end
Stop the War
and send the refugees back
all they want
is their home land
so they can start to rebuild their
out bombed homes
and start to live again
in their own land
because their hearts do not belong
up here in ice cold Norway
stop the war and send them home
to where they were born
