In the snake's year of 1965
I was born nearly alive
my eyes were blue
but there was nothing I could do
destiny's wheel had started
Nothing I can say
nothing I can do
my dreams will never come true
lost in the danger zone
In the betraying year of 1972
the Devil came knocking at my door
he smiled at me and said come with me
and I will show you
all the good things we can get for free
and that was the very first time
I got arrested by the police
and many came afterwards without stop
In the false year of 1987
I started smoking dope
and I felt that I was close to heaven
and I thought I was free
to do all the things that I needed
but it was the THC
that was twisting my mind
and made my eyes blind
for the way things
and my life would turn out
In the payback year of 1994
the police came to my door
and they told me
this time OJ you have to stay
a long time behind thick stone walls
and closed iron doors
because you have been involved
in some serious crimes
so say your friends
and they have told us everything
and even lies on top of what
they were able to invent
and all I had done
was to get my self stoned
In the promised year of 1997
nobody can tell heaven from hell
but time will show
maybe they will let me go
and all that I have learned
is that you can not thrust or trust anybody
on this beautiful place called earth
so beware of your steps or you will end
up like me
lost in the danger zone
