| Greetings, recruits. I am Counselor Orn, you survivor teacher. Now, I must tell you that you should pay attention in this class. This lesson shall help you improve your skills to survive on other planets, especially when you're stranded. If you don't pay attention, you might not live for even a day if you're stranded on wild planets. Shall we start? Lesson #1: Basic Equipment Before exploring in outerspace, it is advised that you take the proper equipment along with you. An ice crystal and a simple pistol can do the trick to protect yourself. If you're camping out, you should have a fire lighter with you. Fire is a good way to lure unknown creatures away. Make sure you have enough quantity of food and water. Filling Pills are good when it comes to this situation, for one of it is already enough for a day. Take a flashlight, a knife, ropes and even a compass, as you never know when they could be useful. A First-aid kit is very useful too, especially when you got hurt. CUPA agents are provided with better equipment, such as the communicating device, which allows you to understand all creatures' language. A jet-packed backpack--only usable when there is air on the planet. Best of all, there should be a companion with you. A good companion can make the travel seem easier to handle, while a bad companion can make it a trouble, so you must choose wisely. I see that you are paying attention. Well, we'll see about that after you finish the homework. 1. What equipment is used to protect yourself? 2. What is the good thing about fire? 3. What are the advantages of taking a good companion with you? These questions are worth 5 points. Copy them, answer them and send them in here. It will be sad if you can't answer any of them, so I advise you to recall what I've taught you once more before you do the homework. Points will be given and we'll proceed to the next lesson after you've done so. |
