just got a very good review in the latest issue of Punk Planet by
Art Ettinger (to read it, go to our new reviews
section). It was one of the few long form reviews in the
magazine and got the coveted "ear" logo saying that we
deserve a second listen. Good shit... Look for us at

increase of traffic to our site has been great. Thanks to
everyone who told a friend about us! There are also a bunch
of broken links and missing or bad descriptions on our Links
page. If your site is on there, verify that the links works and
that you have an accurate description or tell me if not. I
don't know much about half the stuff that's on there, so I don't
know what to write about it. If your site isn't on there or
need to correct a current link, tell
me and I'll put it there. Oh yeah, START SOME
CONVERSATIONS ON OUR MESSAGE BOARD, it looks empty. Don't
forget to sign the guest book as well. We like that

basically I'm just continuing to work on the page (I have a ton of
new ideas), and getting ready to send out our demo to a few
smaller labels -- so wish us luck. Check out our new mp3.com

The shows on the 11th and 13th rocked. Thanks to everyone
who came, and especially Kite
Flying Society
for stopping by Roboto while on their east
coast tour to play with us. |

entire web page - starting with the registration of
www.rise-above.com. While I am re-working the page, some
links will not be available, and some will link to parts of the

rise above cd is here! We spent 10 hours in the studio this
past saturday to give you the finest 22 minutes of
inspiration-core money can buy. the cd will be for sale at
our release show on Friday, April 13 in South Side at eli's bar. it's $5 dollars and, according to someone very
wise, is worth every penny. we have plenty of copies, but
they really are going fast. check out mp3 previews just posted in
the Music

me out at The Rockshop! I work odd hours at an independent record
store on Rt. 88 in The Hillcrest Shops (next to Bruster's ice cream
in Bethel Park). The guys (Mike, Scott and Gino) who run the place
are great and have made me part of the family. Come visit me and
say "Hi!". We sell everything from rock to hardcore to

everyone! All has been great, busy with shows and writing new
songs and meeting new friends! Im glad we've had the opportunity to meet so many great people and play with some amazing bands. The
Roboto shows were fun, thanks to everyone who showed. Special
thanks to Jason from Hooray! for filling in and Baby J for being
the best roadie. All of our equipment was salvaged, for those not
in the know for the second time a sewage line erupted in my
basement and my parents literally waded through shit to save our
stuff. (sue the bastards Linda!) Thank you, yinz rock. March
10th should be great, our friend Dan Rock has set this up for us
and it's a benefit for his friend who has cancer. Hope to see
everyone there. Lots of shit is being set up (summer tour?)
recording and a shit load of shows. Thanks to everyone who signed
the guest
book, it was temporarily full, but its all good now

unrelated news, our weekly hockey game was today. We played our
friends Jason and Bill from Hooray! and although I still think we
won, we lost. This is a god damn outrage! I publicly diss Hooray!
and they will be killed Tie Dome style next week! Anyone
