Tomato Pudding, Yum

1 inch cubed bread (Italian, Vienna, French, etc)
    enough to cover bottom of 8x8x2 inch baking dish
1 stick butter
    enough to coat bread cubes
1 can tomato sauce
1/3 to 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed (to taste)
salt and pepper to taste

Melt butter and coat bread.
Heat tomato sauce and brown sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
Pour over the bread. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 425.
