The boy and I took PB99 to the lake cabin today. Transport and dismount
were without incident.
We did one item of assessment on the state of the bike - removed the alternator
cover and put a 17mm socket on the nut and tried to turn the alternator.
The bad news is that we were only able to move it for a few
ratchets before it came to a halt - hard, like metal hitting metal.
The good news is that while this would have scared us off had PB97
done this, we both just shrugged our shoulders and Gabriel said
"Well, looks like we'll have to open this one up more than Rip".
