They walked into the lab,it was cluttered with large glass tubes that went from the ceiling down. Ulric was there waiting,"alright,heres the deal,there are two mindswipers in the field,your job is to seek and capture.",He said. Eric walked in and the doors shut behind him, the room was large as a gym with a jungle setting. "Okay this ought to be a peice of cake."Eric thought to himself. suddenly he heard something shoot from behind him,sounding something like a dart,he ducked low and the dart went over the top only nothing seem to be there. Then he heard the sound of metal hitting metal,he saw the dart hitting the tree and bouncing off. Instead of sticking to the wood it bounced off,"Somethings wrong here,"he thought. all of a sudden he heard a faint audiable sound like footsteps from along way away. "its a sniper, it has to be.",eric thought looking around the room,just then four claw marks appeared on erics back. the blow knocked him forward but he regained his composure,he spun around to find nothing. suddenly another shot rang out,and erics unknown assailent took another lunge. quickly thinking he reached for thin air,grabbed and flung he watched as th thin outline of heat took shape as the dart sank itsself into its victims back. eric drew for the sniper and found his target as he was running thru the trees. "because you hadnt found the the other mindswipe yet!",ulric replied. eric was then hit over the head by what seem to be a living tree. ulric slammed his fist down on the table in the control room 'he should have made the captures with eyes closed," he said angrly,"how could he botch it like that!". "Gaurds!!" ulric yelled for the gaurds, half a dozen entered the room,"take this alley cat and the swipes back to there cells.",ulric demanded. the gaurds saluted and yuric was escorted out of the room. Eric recovered a moment later on a cold steel floor. "letme guess,the forest was a fake." eric replied. "yep,nice move on arron,i never would have seen that comming.". Eric was answered by a young female leopard,she looked to be about 28 cycles old,"so your is the secret every been talking about.". as eric got up he examined the room about him,indeed the forest was an illusion and the true room looked like a greenhouse with a steel floor. walkways hung from the rafters,and various obstacles were scattered about the room. the swiper that went for eric was badger,no older than eric. "secret,",eirc said puzzled,"who are you?",he asked. "my names lydia,and truth be told your a big name in the mindswiper ward.",she answered. Before they could continue two gaurds accompinied by ulric intterupped,"Sorry to interupe but i must insist these get back to the ward before they become a problem,". the gaurd grabbed lydia and the other reached for Aaron rather rudely,eric quickly drew his gun before the three could react,"no i insist gentle men,allow me!" eric replied. Moments later eric lydia aaron and the gaurd arrived at the mindswipe ward, eric dropped off aaron at his cell at the front of the hall. after the gaurd finished locking the cell they continued down the hall. eric stopped suddenly,he saw a jet black female vulpine her face wet with tears. Eric gave an odd look she looked to be crying but she made no sound in doing so. lydia struggled with the gaurd and broke free,the gaurd went for his control collar remote but fumbled. seeing this eric went for his gun and threaten the gaurd who quickly return the remote to its holdster.
