Richard

Richard was my cousin. We grew up togther as kids. He was actually more like a brother then anything else. Richard was only 13. He grew up in West Palm Bch, Florida. With his Mom(Lynne), Dad(Rich)& Sister(Crystal). He had 3 dogs. 1 Golden Retriever(Brandy) and 2 Dalmatians(Jake & Carmichael). He loved those dogs so much. Soon after Brandy's 13th bday she started to have trouble walking. So they had her put to sleep. Not long after that Jake & Carmichael disappeared. We never found out anything else about them. Until after Richard's death, his mom said she had to take them to the pound. Richard never found out what happened to his dogs! He was a good kid. Got good grades. Went to school. He then started hanging out with the "bad" kids. Which lead to doing drugs, Skipping school and lying to his mom. Right before Richard's death he started to change for the better. He was going back to school. He was working for his dad. Even getting ready to celebrate his 14th bday. Which he NEVER got to see! Things were going so good for him. Richard did live with his mom and dad his whole life. Until his dad left and got remarried or whatever. Richard then moved in with his dad figuring he'd probably be happier (possession wise, knowing his dad would buy him whatever). Richard still came by to visit his mom and us. After staying at his dad's things started to get worse. His stepmother Mary would single him out when something bad happened. She treated him like crap. Now I hope she feel's like crap, knowing that my cousin is dead. Richard planned to move out of his dad's and in with his mom, BUT that like many other thing's never happened. But looking back on it all. I can be happy with saying Richard lived a happy life. A life some people wish they could have. He was active in Boy Scouts all of his life. He did things even older people now a days never did. He also played the trumpet. Richard was very talented. But it seems his life was cut short for some reason. i reason we may never know. And there are some things I regret that I can never replace. Like how I always yelled at him, or how I never told him I loved him.
