Josh Davis____________________________
A native and current resident of
Chattanooga, Tennessee; Josh is the
half of 'Rogue Force' that is mainly responsible for writing the
character
of Ripcord, as well as ensuring the relative accuracy of the
military
aspects of each of the stories._The
twenty year old prides himself on his
military background, gained from both a long time interest
sparked by his
predominately military family and his own Army and Air Force ROTC
experiences, for its ability to help his stories paint a
reasonably realistic
picture for the readers of his works._He
thinks of his writings as an easy
to produce creative outlet and while he is more than willing to
write any
genre in order to tell a complete story; he prefers to write
about situations
that are best categorized as action, adventure, and science
fiction works.
His inspiration comes mainly from his video gaming and
movie-going
hobbies as far as story ideas are concerned but his writing style
is heavily
influenced by such authors as Dale Brown, Michael A. Stackpole,
S.D.
Perry, and Patrick F. Rogers._Despite
his enjoyment in writing, the
college student does not currently consider writing as a possible
career
path; instead keeping his mind focused on his pursuit of a
commission in
the United States military._______________________________________
