Babes In Toyland : The Making And The Selling Of A Rock And Roll Band.

This book was written by Neal Karlen, a writer who befriended Babes In Toyland in Minneapolis. According to Kat, the book should be called The Stalking And The Exploiting Of Innocent Rock Bands or something to that effect. She says that he wasted his advance on the book so had to rush it out to meet the deadline. Having read the book myself, I would say that I took everything in there with a large pinch of salt, I mean, some of it is just the kind of stuff you wouldn't know, writing a book or not. Unless he followed them with a tape recorder and recorded everything they ever said. On the whole, its a good read, and an interesting (if not ultimately believable) insight into the transition from a Independent to a Major label.
This is the softcover version. The hardback has the picture from Fontanelle on the cover.
