John Abruzzi

Also Known As: N/A

Sentenced to life without parole for conspiracy to commit murder.

A member of the Abruzzi crime family he owes his conviction to a man named Fibbonaci and is desperate to get revenge on him, even though he is hiding in witness protection. When he found out that Michael knew where Fibbonaci was, he tried to get the information by cutting off two of Michaels toes. When this didnt work he agreed to let Michael join Prison Industries.

He advised Michael to kill Haywire so that he could continue to dig in the cell.

He lost his right to run PI when someone from his old group took over. Abruzzi took the eye of this man, but still didnt get back in control. On the outside his old crime family said that he wasnt able to find out where Fibbonachi was and threatened his young children. He hatched a plan with Michael and they faked where Fibbonachi was; the new leader of the crime family and his cronies were arrested for this and Abruzzi came back into control.

When it was revealed that T-Bag had told his cousin on the outside about the plan to make sure he wasnt killed Abruzzi got his men to kill the cousin but they ended up killing his five year old son as well. Abruzzi was racked with guilt by this and was attacked by T-Bag, having his throat slashed and being raced to hospital.

He managed to survive and came back as a supposedly devout Christian, having put all his anger behind him but it was revealed that he planned to kill almost all of the escapees when he was going to get on his jet to escape.

On the outside he tried to attack T-Bag in revenge but appeared to be foiled when T-Bag handcuffed himself to Michael and swallowed the key. This didnt stop Abruzzi who, grabbing an axe, chopped T-Bags hand off, leaving him abandoned and bleeding.

He made it to the airfield late, but just in time to see the jet take off over his head.

He threatened to kill a young girl when her father recognised him until the father put the gun down and he then let the girl go.
