Baptist Church of Parque Amorim

Parque Amorim is located in Belford Roxo. Belford Roxo is a suburb of Caxias. Caxias is located on the northern edge of Rio de Janeiro. It was at least a 45 minute drive from Guapimirim each day - well, that isn't completely correct because we did make it in 43 minutes one morning.
It is an exciting church. Two years ago, this church didn't exist. On the first Sunday night, I estimated that there were 250 in attendance. On the second Sunday night, the estimate was 300 in attendance.
For the week, the team recorded 80 decisions and at least one rededication.

This is a front view of the building. Soon, they will be adding a porch to the front of the building.

Here is some of the building material that has been stockpiled for future projects.

They want to buy this lot (basically where the green plants are growing) so they can expand - possibly build a new sanctuary here and put classrooms in the old sanctuary.
