Jeff moaned as the searching mouth moved hungrily
down his neck. The kisses were hot and powerful. Strong arms held
him down as the mouth moved past his navel and stopped just short of the
waistband of his boxers. The cotton was soaked with precome and straining
against the erection held beneath. Jeff looked down as they were peeled
away and the brown-headed angel engulfed him.
It was almost too much to take. Jeff knew
that he was getting close. He would not last much longer. His
breath began to quicken and he began to moan and say his name. Oh,
God. Drew, dont stop...
The other man grinned up at him and smiled.
Jeff, are you all right?
Jeff was confused, that did not sound like
Drew. Jeff! Cmon man!
Jeff awoke with a start. Justin was standing
over him, with his hand on Jeffs shoulder.
Wha...? Where are we?
Good morning, Sugar, Justin said. He
smiled at Jeff and pointed over his shoulder toward the front of the bus.
We finally made it to the hotel. You gonna come up or sleep on the bus
all night?
Im coming. Im coming, Jeff
mumbled. He sat up with a groan and grinned up at the man who sang bass
for the group. Man, how long was I out?
A couple of hours. So, you gonna tell me
why you were moaning and calling Drews name, Justin asked, cocking his head
sideways and looking intently at Jeff. Justin could do that so easily.
Jeff thought that it was those blue eyes. They could just stare right
into you.
It was at that moment that he realized what Justin
had said. He could feel the heat rush up his neck as he blushed.
Um...well...you see...I dont know, Jeff said quietly.
Justin laughed and clapped Jeff on the
shoulder. Dont worry about it, man. I wont say anything.
Promise.
Thanks, Droopy, Jeff said. He sighed with
relief as they stepped out into the balmy night air. Jeff could not believe
that they were in Miami. They were supposed to be meeting with the
members of *Nsync to set up a schedule for their upcoming tour. It was a
deal that had been kept under tight wraps by both Universal and Jive.
Jeff threw his back pack over his shoulder and
followed Justin into the lobby. It was a nice hotel, you know, one of
those places that if you were not wealthy, famous, or just important, they did
not want you there. Jeff hated these places. Everyone was eager to
please. He was so sick of all of the fake facades of the music
industry. If it were not for the fact that he loved singing so much plus,
the company of the guys, he probably would have gotten out of it a long time
ago.
He spotted Nick and Drew standing near the
elevator talking to some of the staff. Drew saw the two of them walking
toward them and waved. Jeff blushed. Justin grinned and leaned in
close to Jeff and whispered, Dont worry. Just relax.
Jeff saw the funny look that Drew was giving him
and grinned, hoping that it did not look as fake as it felt. Hey
Sprout. Whats up?
Not much. Nick and I are just getting ready
to head up to our rooms and see if the other guys are here yet.
Before Jeff could say anything the heard a
commotion behind them and a loud voices shouting. They turned just in
time to see Lance, JC, and Justin come through the front doors at a full run.
Lance had this deer in the headlights look on his face as he ran for them,
while JC and Justin kept glancing back over their shoulders.
Jeff felt hands pull him aside and into the open
elevator as the screaming mob of girls came into the lobby. Their prey,
spotted getting onto an open elevator. They ran for the doors as they
closed and began their ascent. It was then that Jeff realized that the
hands that had pulled him in were still around his waist. He looked back
over his shoulder to see Drew grinning at the panting members of *Nsync on the
floor of the elevator.
Having fun yet guys, Nick said, leaning down and
giving JC a hand to his feet. Justin Jeffre was fighting back laughter
while Lance and Justin were grinning.
Oh, yes, great fun, JC said, the sarcasm evident
in his voice. You guys just get here?
Jeff felt Drew withdraw his arms and felt an
almost sad sense of loss at the feeling. He could not believe that he was
acting this way. He had had feelings for Drew for some time
now and had always managed to keep them hidden. Why did they have to come
to the surface now? He must have been showing some of his emotions
because at that moment, Lance leaned over and asked him something.
What? Im sorry Lance. I was
daydreaming. What was that?
I said, are you all right, Lance repeated.
He was looking at Jeff with concern evident in his bright green eyes.
You look rather disappointed about something.
Nah, Im fine, Jeff said, giving a quick
smile. Just tired from the bus ride. How long you guys been here?
A few hours, JC answered. He pointed over
his shoulder to Justin Timberlake, who was laughing and talking with
Nick. Curly over there decided that he wanted to go shopping and needed
company. So, Lance and I went along, not realizing that we were the
proverbial lambs being led to slaughter.
This brought strong laughs from the members of 98
Degrees with Justin looked somewhat offended. What? Hey, you
didnt have to go, man! You jumped at the chance to spend more
money. I swear man, you are like a woman when it comes to
shopping. Justin rolled his eyes as he said the last part. This
brought on more laughter while JC laughed and agreed.
The elevator dinged alerting the guys that they
had reached their destination. They shared one of the upper floors, with
four suites. Each suite had two bedrooms. This worked out perfectly
considering that Lance and Joey were involved in a discreet relationship. This
was a fact that was kept from the public, for obvious reasons. The only
ones outside of the band and their management that knew were the members of 98
Degrees.
Climbing off of the elevator, Justin, JC, and
Lance waved and headed for their end of the floor. Jeff and the others
headed toward their rooms. Nick headed for the door on the left while
Drew went to the one on the right. Jeff stopped and asked which room he
was in.
Well, Justin and I are sharing this one, Nick
said, pointing at the door he was now unlocking. You and Drew get that
one.
Before Jeff could say anything, Nick walked in and
was followed by Justin, who shot Jeff an apologetic look. Jeff, you
coming in or going down to say Hi. to the others, Drew asked from the door.
Jeff just sighed and followed him into the
room. Man, I am beat. I am going to take a bath and then head to
bed. Night Drew, Jeff said, not even looking at the shorter man.
He did not see the odd look that Drew gave him as he walked away.
All right, Drew said quietly. Night
Jeff.
Joey was just walking into the main room of the
suite when Lance and JC came through the door. Walking over to them, Joey
planted a small peck on Lance's cheek while JC smiled and shook his head.
"What," Joey asked.
"Nothing," JC replied with a
smile. "It just makes me smile that the two of you still do things
like that."
"Like what? Kiss," Lance asked, turning
and looking at JC in confusion.
"Not kissing, just little love pecks and
stuff like that," JC replied. He walked into the small kitchen and
poured himself a glass of water. "You don't see that much. It is
usually the 'I want you so bad right now that I am going to inhale you through
my tongue' or the 'Forget anyone else is in the room and make me come right
here' kisses. But, then again, you also have those 'God! Not
here! Someone could see us!' quick, embarrassed kisses. Or, those
'Oh all right, but get it over with' tolerant ones."
By this time, Joey and Lance were both blushing
furiously and grinning. "All right, what are we," Lance asked.
He crossed his arms and leaned back against Joey.
"Yeah, what are our kisses like," Joey
continued. He put his arms around Lances waist from behind and stood
there.
"You guys are the 'Hi honey, I love you'
type. Not this sickening, 'I wuv u so vewy much sweetums, I couwd just
wuv u and squeeze you and howd you fowever' kind," JC replied. He
dropped down onto the leather couch that was behind him and sighed. "There
are times that I am so jealous of what you two have, that I could scream."
This took both of the other men by complete
surprise. "What do you mean, Josh," Lance asked. He walked over
and sat down next to him on the couch.
"I mean," JC said, the frustration
evident in his voice. "I am sick of being alone. If I had
realized that this was going to be one of the costs of the business, I never
would have gotten into it."
"C'mon man," Joey said softly. He
knelt in front of JC and took both of his hands in his. "It's not
all that you think it is."
JC started to pull his hands away but was stopped
by Lance placing his on top of both of theirs. "Josh, it isn't as easy for
Joey and me as you might think," Lance said. "Yes, we have each
other, but we can't hold hands in public. I can't kiss him unless we are
behind closed doors. Trust me, there are times on stage that I want to do
nothing more than to
jump him right then and there. But, I
can't."
Joey was trying not to choke at this point.
"Lance! I can not believe you just told him that!"
This was all it took, JC fell over with
laughter. After a minute of looking shocked, Joey joined in while Lance
sat there with this funny look on his face. "What? It's the
truth."
A short while later, after JC and Joey had
regained their composure, Lance pulled Joey into their bedroom. "I
need to talk to you. Alone," Lance whispered to Joey.
"All right, let's go," Joey said,
standing up and following his partner.
"Now, what is wrong," he asked, closing
the door behind them.
"I think that Jeff has feelings for
Drew," Lance said in a rush.
"Huh? Jeff who? Oh wait a
sec...Drew, you're talking about 98 Degrees!"
"And to think that they call me the bright
one," Lance said in disgust, rolling his eyes. He fell back on the
bed with a sigh. "I am being serious Joey."
"I know you are. It is just that
neither of you bothered to tell me that they were here yet. You sort of
threw me off balance when you brought up their names," Joey told
him. He felt the bed move as Joey slid onto the mattress next to him.
Rising up on his side and resting his head on his
hand, Lance looked at Joey. "I think Jeff
Timmons has feelings for Drew Lachey."
"What makes you say that?"
"Well, you see it was like this..."
