Cool Places to Visit in Neopia
Here are some places I (and/or other people) like to visit in Neopia. Everything is free unless it says otherwise.
The Neopets Fruit Machine- You get a free "spin" once a day, and you might win
food and/or np.
Coltzan's Shrine-This can be visited once every 12 hours, and you can win food, items, your pet might gain a level, or they might grow stronger, faster, etc.
Tombola-This is once a day, again, and if you pick a number that ends in 0, 2, or 5 (the number is randomly picked) you'll win an item or items, usually including a faerie or a codestone, and np. But if you don't win, you still get an item (not a very good one) and sometimes you can still get np.
The Healing Springs-You can go here around every hour or two, and you can either choose "Heal my Pets" or "See what is for sale". If you choose "Heal my Pets", then something good will happen, such as she will give you a potion, or your pets will gain hit points, or they will not be hungry any more, or they will be cured from a disease, etc. If you choose "See what is for sale", then you will go to a shop where you can buy healing items (usually overpriced).
The Wheel of Excitement-You can spin this wheel once every two hours. It costs 100 np per spin, and there are many possibilities for winning and losing, such as winning 10,000 np or getting the Pant Devil, who steals an item.
The Wheel of Mediocrity-This wheel can be spun once every hour, and this one only costs 50 np. But this one has more bad things, and the highest amount of np you can win is 1,000.
The Wheel of Misfortune-Yes, it's another wheel. This one costs 100 np, and you can spin it once every two hours. There are eight possibilities, receiving np, receiving a gift (plushies, etc.), losing np, receiving an illness (usually just one pet), having a pet forget a book, having the pant devil steal an item (I think), and two others (a mud monster and a pile of dust) which I'm not sure what happens...
The Giant Omelette-You can go here once a day, and you have a
very good chance of getting a free omelette (it is randomly picked, though).
Giant Jelly-This is just like the Giant Omelette, except it gives out, you guessed it, jelly.
The Snowager-You can go here only once a day as well, and if he is asleep, you can try to grab one of his many rare items, but you might also get hurt if he wakes up, so it's a risk, but it's worth taking.
Grumpy Old King-King Skarl, from Meridell, is mad because he lost his precious orb. Here, you get to make up a joke and tell it to him to try to make him laugh. You could get free stuff, and it's fun making the jokes!
Turmaculus-A giant...thing. You're supposed to try to wake him up by selecting one of the many methods, but I don't think it's actually possible to wake him up. You can still try though!
The National Neopian Bank-You should definitely get a bank account because you get 30 np just for starting one and you get daily interest, depending on how much money you put in. Upgrade your account as much as possible, because then you'll get more interest, and come back every day to get it. Do NOT deposit or withdraw any np until you have recieved your interest, because if you do, then they won't let you get your interest for that day anymore.
The Mystery Island Training School-If you have codestones, or a lot of np, and you like to battle, then you should train your pets here. Click on "Courses" to pick your pet and what stat you want to improve (Endurance is the maximum hit points), then go to "Status" to figure out what codestone you need. There is no time limit, and you don't even have to pay at all, but the course won't start until you have given the codestone to him. Come back when the course is over so you can make sure it is done, and you can train your pet as many times as you want, providing you have np or codestones.
The Swashbuckling Academy-This is like the training school, only you need dubloons instead of
codestones. You can't be in both training schools at once, but you can have one pet in each, for example. Also, if it's your pet's day, you can get free training here (click
here to find out which day is your pet's).
New Features-This is just like the news, you don't get or pay anything, just find out what's new. You should check this out.
The Money Tree-You can go here as many times as you want, in order to get something for free just click on it. The only catch is that sometimes the ghosts will steal some np or an item to put into the money tree. Also, it's hard to get anything because they go so fast, so you need a really fast computer. you can get np from it if you have less than 20,000 np, but I'm not sure how because I've never tried it.
Your Shop-If you don't have a shop, you should get one because then you can get more np. You should probably check your
shop till every day also to see how much np you've made, and to get the np.
Advent Calendar-This gives out free stuff during December, including np and two items. There's also a cool little "movie". It gives out new stuff everyday.
The Neopets Stock Market-I actually don't know much about this; I'm adding this link as a request. But I think it is similar to the real stock market, just a little less complicated.
