Skippy declares
"BlowGun War" with NHL personalities.

Note: Skippy started this war during the 2000/01 season and he has
continued it this season
Citing a lack of excitement in this expansion-diluted NHL season,
Skippy (one of the many contributors to The Rink Rat) has decided to
"declare open season on anyone and everyone involved with the
NHL". Skippy's weapon of choice for this "war" is
his trusty BlowGun which he calls "Lulu" (seen below).
Although his BlowGun is equipped to shoot darts, Skippy will only shoot
frozen marbles at his chosen targets.

"The reason I am doing this", said Skippy at his press
conference where he presented NHL representatives with his declaration of
war, "is because this NHL season is severely lacking in
excitement. I figured if people in the NHL were under the constant
threat of ambush by me and Lulu, that the added anxiety would produce some
better play and just some more excitement. Adrenaline is a great
motivator! The NHL needs a kick in the butt like this!"
The Rink Rat supports Skippy in his battle and will keep a running total
of Skippy's "Kills" for as long as the war rages.

Skippy's
favorite 'Kill" was NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman (seen above,
middle row -far left).
Skippy got Bettman as he was holding a press conference during the NHL
All-Star Game. Skippy reported that "Bettman whinnied like a
little pony after being hit". Nice shooting, Skip!!
