| I'd love to tell you the plot really detailed but, then I would be typing forever. So I'll just tell you the basic plot. A ring is created by Sauron which is used for evil. A great battle goes on and a man named Isildur choppes off the finger of Sauron in which the ring was on. Isildur is told to destroy the ring but his greediness over powers him and he refuses. The ring then deceives him adn he gets killed. The ring falls into the water and is lost. Years pass and the ring is forgoten about. Then the ring is picked up by Smeagol's (Gollum's) friend (Deagol) and Smeagol takes it from him. Years later (when he is called Gollum) he loses the ring and a hobbit named Bilbo (Frodo's uncle) pickes it up. Years after that Bilbo gives the ring to Frodo. At that time, it just so happens that the ring is calling to it's master (Sauron) and it's master is looking for it. Now Sauron was killed but his eye is always watching (so technically his spirit is "alive"). And because the ring is evil, Gandalf tells Frodo he must destroy it. So starts the journy of the ring. |
