Gangrel -recruited w/ the prince in the war of 1812. badly burned while charging from the capitol as it was on fire, spent most of the campaign healing. Drove the Bishop (sabbat) into torpor (in the capitol) was the only person from his coterie to escape from the mission alive. after this, Nigel and his followers destroyed much of the remaining sabbat. Nigel was given the posistion of sheriff, and Douglas was forgotten. He is strongly upset about the way everyone has forgotten about him, while his old friend has become prince. and his old lover has become the primogen
