For a small monthly fee ($2.00 a month or highest bid), you can feature your web site in the "Featured Sites" on all pages of this ring. Your normal listing will remain in the ring as well.
*Please note that the site featuring fee is calculated on a daily basis, and if the RingMaster recieves a higher bid (assuming the fee of $2.00 a month is not already being paid), he / she has the right to remove the featured site at any time and replace it with the site of the higher bidder. If this were the case, you would only be charged for the days you were featured. You can also re-bid at any time.
Simple Instructions for having your site featured:
Click on "Member Tools" on the navagation bar on the left of the ring.
Next click "Edit Site Information".
Then scroll down and you will see the information about featuring your site.

RingMembers, If you are interested in participating then go to edit your Site information and enter in the 'Featured Sites Fee' box the maximum you would be willing to pay to have your Site included in the featured Sites area. This amount will, by necessity, be divulged to the RingMaster, it will only be used in preparing a list of participating Sites for the RingMaster selection page described above. If the RingMaster has previously entered a fee amount you will be shown that amount with a message indicating the RingMaster is willing. Selection will proceed as described above.
How do I get credit into my account?
You can either use PayPal, Visa/Mastercard , or send a check via conventional mail. The link on your My Rings page will always list all options available. Use the link below to conrtibute using PayPal. PayPal is fast, easy, and so far very reliable. They do deduct a fee from the amount sent to cover their costs. WebRing will absorb this fee for contributions $5 and over. If you don't have a PayPal account and wish to sign up for one then WebRing may benefit as well.

Why charge a fee, and what will this be used for?
At the present time advertising does not completely cover the cost of operations, nor are employees paid for their work. In order for WebRing to continue as a vibrant community on the Internet additional funding is required. We hope to begin to cover costs, including paying employees for programming, support, maintenance and new feature design. In addition we would like to improve the robustness of the service, hopefully limiting potential outages to the barest minimum. Eventually servers will have to be replaced and added as WebRing grows. Finally, we would also like to continue to promote WebRing on other Internet sites in order to grow WebRing even more, driving more traffic through your Rings. We've decided to charge a fee for these services as the best way of keeping the basic WebRing service free. For those that wish to benefit from additional service s for a small fee we hope to see to it that WebRing continues to be the best, and cheapest, service available.
