Vitamin D

Vitamin D namely D3 is responsible for the proper absorption and regulation of Calcium and Phosphorus in the body. D3 is the hormone state that helps to regulate the Phosphorus level in the blood.

In order to be used by the body D3 must be produced in the body in a photosynthesis process using UVB light. Vitamin D3 pure when consumed goes directly to the liver. Excessive consumption can cause the kidneys to work overtime in it�s extraction. This can also lead to dehydration.

Deficiency of vitamin D causes Rickets and Osteomalacia. It is also a key component in the battle against Osteoporosis. Studies show that vitamin D may also protective against some cancers.
