David Lister
Lister is Third Technician aboard Red Dwarf. He is the only member of the Red Dwarf crew that survived the radiation leak accident. That is because he was in stasis for bringing an unquarantined cat aboard the ship when it happened. Holly revived him 3 million years later.

Arnold J. Rimmer
Rimmer is Second Technician aboard Red Dwarf. He died during to the radiation leak accident along with the rest of the crew (except Lister) and was brought back as hologram by Holly. His biggest ambition is to become an officer.

Cat is the last survivor of the Cat People, who evolved during 3 million years from Lister's pet cat, Frankenstein.
