Less government and corporate power; more personal freedoms - please!

Our personal freedoms and guarantees of freedom from prejudice and harassment are seriously threatened. With manipulated trade resulting in both "outsourcing" of jobs and lower wages it is not that hard to see where one's civil liberties can easily be threatened by the big government/big corporate agenda that is steadily stealing away our guarantees of fairness and freedom. Not too surprisingly - to myself, at least - the leading perpetrators of this unprecendented frontal assault on personal freedom, safety, civil rights, and health are the very people who pay lip service to "less government" and personal freedom. What they really mean is less government interference and more personal freedom for those who underwrite their political campaigns and more big government for the rest of us. They pay lip service to free markets - for the rest of us, while promoting and protecting all sorts of government protectionism for their sponsors. We as citizen taxpayers need to take control of our personal, financial, and political lives.
