Among other pursuits, languages are often my favorites. The endless possibilities and amazing etymologies create total wonder in my mind. I have studied the basic structures of various languages in my free time, and even puted much time into the language "Quenya", a fabrication of JRR Tolkien.
I began studying Tolkien's elvish languages after reading his books, and was astonished to discover that I was not the only "nut" who finds the fantasy-work of Tolkien awesome.
After much time studying other languages I began to cultivate a few of my own linguitsic concepts on to paper. I now have several of my own "conlang's", however they are all very incomplete. |
