| Welcome to Rima's BirdHouse I have been raising birds since I was a teenager I started with one Female Yellow Parakeet "Peanuts"... of course she was lonely while I was at school so I had to get her a friend ... a Normal Green Male "Freckles" ... from that pair I graduated to one Normal Grey Female Cockatiel ... "Jody" ... of course she was lonely too and also needed a friend ... but I couldn't persuade my Mom to allow me to buy another bird ... she said I had enough ... Enough birds ???? What does that mean ??? LOL ... But ... as luck would have it a friend of mine gave me a Double Yellow Headed Amazon ... "Barney" ... He was a great talker ... and Screamer ... LOL ... but eventually my friend wanted him back and was my Mom ever pleased about that! One of my neighbors gave me some Canaries and needless to say I loved them all and was way beyond being just hooked ... I was "OBSESSED" ... They are like Potato Chips ... You can't have just one !!
