| Leaders must know the people who elect them and be able to communicate with them on the things that matter to them.

| These are difficult times in state and local government
that call for cooperation and innovation to find solutions to our difficult financial problems. I learned a great deal in running for the legislature in the last election. My goal is to listen to and represent all of the voters, and I will work hard to see that all viewpoints get fair consideration. |
