BOOKS BY KRIS BUDIMAN

KRIS BUDIMAN is a lecturer in Tarakanita Academy of Social Welfare and a researcher in the Center of Research in Culture and Social Change, Gadjah Mada University (GMU), Yogyakarta, Indonesia. He studied in Department of Linguistics, Faculty of Letters, GMU (1984-1990) and Department of Anthropology, Postgraduate Program, GMU (1996-1999). He has published several books about literary criticism, semiotics, and gender studies: WACANA SASTRA DAN IDEOLOGI (Literary Discourse and Ideology), 1994;
FEMINOGRAFI (Feminography), 1999; and KOSA SEMIOTIKA (A Vocabulary of Semiotics), 1999. His essays were also included in Budi Susanto et al. (ed.), CITRA WANITA DAN KEKUASAAN (JAWA) [The Image of Women and (Javanese) Power], 1992; Agus Noor & Hamdy Salad (ed.), HISTERIA KRITIK SASTRA (The Hysteria of Literary Criticism), 1996; and Irwan Abdullah (ed.), SANGKAN PARAN GENDER (The Alpha-Omega of Gender), 1997. His latest book is WACANA GENDER DAN FEMINIS LAKI-LAKI (Gender Discourse and Male Feminist), forth coming.
