| The First Week In Our New Home 6 Weeks Old |
| The first night was a very loooong one. Einstein & Loki couldn't sleep at all. They were like children on Christmas Eve. They kept waking up to play with their toys. Once or twice Loki woke up crying and Einstein whimpered in his sleep but once they figured out they could crawl up into the bed and sleep with us they were just fine. Little did we know at the time it would lead to a history of bed sharing between the four of us. To this day it's next to impossible to kick either one of them out of bed unless they are really willing to let you do so. |
| After the long car ride and then time spent at the Vet the puppies were very eager to dig into some dinner and check out their new home. |
| Within a few days the dogs had grown accustomed to their new home. While Erika got to spend the entire first week just cuddling and playing with the puppies Michael got elected for bigger duties in the pack. The puppies decided early on that Michael was the Alpha so they depended on him for everything. It was Michael who was awaken three times a night to go potty outside. Mostly though the dogs slept. At least for the first week or so. |

| By morning, they were at home, at peace and finally sleeping. |
