Ever read one of the Mars Novels and when faced with a passage that reads, I traveled for 500 haads and twelve Zodes later met with .
ok, so that kinda messes with the flow of the novel Stop reading, dig out the calculator and pen and paper, try to find the distance-time charts what book and page were they on. Oh crap, Ill just not care.
But now, thanks to Jon Nixon, we now have a means to work this easily. This is especially useful for writers of fan-fic or those who want to mark their books with Earthly conversions.
Or for those who just like these sort of things.
When I asked for these programs, I specified three rows: Barsoom measurements, British Measurements and Metric (for those who are more modern than we Americans). Plus conversions for hours, days, minutes, etc.
What Mr. Nixon provided exceeded my requests and I give to you the result.
